Pros
Salary is fair, benefits are ok, in reality just another job that pays the bills. Prior to the merger (Legacy Sheridan) was a great place with lots of enthusiastic people wanting to make a difference. Now not so much any more.
Cons
Upper management simply doesn't care. After the merger its all about the bottom line. They are currently outsourcing all of IT to Mexico. No oversight and no accountability. Our main revenue stream is also being outsourced to Mexico. CIO is under qualified and a micro manager. This guy ism truly a lost cause. CISO has no business managing a team of INFOSEC pros. This guy lies to the board and doesn't disclose breach info as required by law. Sends all work offshore. CEO has lost touch with what's going on in the company, too busy focusing on the stock price. In his last town hall meeting, he told everyone to simple "Embrace the Suck"..... To my point, our office in Denver is a waste land. Everyone has jumped ship. The other offices are also doing the same. The environment is toxic and if you are not a YES man you wont be around very long.
