Pros

Remote work flexibility Technology environment Fun middle-management staff who work hard Salaries are (too) high

Cons

Owners/C-Suite leaders are very rash decision-makers who do not fully understand their own business operations. They do not patiently listen or consider feedback, this is not a collaborative or healthy team. The Company makes hasty judgments every month based on which way the winds are blowing the prior month - they do not take a long-term view nor are they disciplined. Leadership directs the company towards its own interests. Sadly, the HR team protects its own interests above all else even above the employees it should be serving. They're chasing profits despite what they say. Leaders have sexy business parlance down and tell a good story but they do not have the character or actions to match. These are not people I recommend you associate with. Turnover is very high as a result. Benefits are poor.

Envision Horizons Response

This feedback is deeply appreciated and is being considered and addressed as we move forward towards further growth in 2023. We take responsibility for breakdown in communication and reactionary decision making that happened in the first quarter of this year. Our agency has seen tremendous growth in a very short span of time in 2023 and we have not been 100% successful in easing growing pains for every department. We will strive to improve in the areas mentioned above in Q2 and in the future. Thank you again.

Pros

Ability to work at home

Cons

I had high hopes when joining this company, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing due to ongoing leadership and workplace culture issues. There is a clear pattern of abuse of power within management, where decisions often feel driven by control rather than collaboration or respect for employees. The work environment can be described as hostile at times, with communication frequently lacking professionalism and psychological safety. Employees are not always encouraged to share ideas or concerns, which creates a culture of tension rather than teamwork. Additionally, there is a heavy level of micromanagement that makes it difficult to work efficiently or feel trusted in your role. Instead of empowering employees, leadership tends to over-monitor and second-guess even routine tasks. One of the most challenging aspects is the leadership style of the CTO, who is often short-tempered and reactive. This creates unnecessary stress and can make day-to-day interactions unpredictable and uncomfortable. Overall, the company would benefit greatly from improvements in leadership approach, communication, and fostering a more respectful and supportive work environment. Until those changes are made, it may be a difficult place for many professionals to thrive.
