Pros

- There are still some great people both in management and in lower positions - Some departments trying to not follow the downfall of the rest company

Cons

- Feeling of uncertainty grows stronger the last year - Many members of the old guard abandon the ship for reasons that aren't known to us, especially HR people - While company spends lots of money for bringing leadership for abroad, the salaries for the rest of us remain mediocre even after great performance review - Company tries to reduce the spendings in things that actually matter for the employees (that aren't so expensive) in order to increase the spendings for "things" that don't matter at all for the company but for the image of specific people - While company says that there are tries to increase transparency, the only steps we see are from the opposite direction - Many rumours for mass layoffs are in the horizon - Bonus is some kind of unicorn but it is so minor when there are more important issues

We’re glad to hear that there are still great people within the company, both in management and across teams, and that some departments are working hard to maintain a positive atmosphere. Pros

If we are being realistic, this is an excellent environment to be working for if you live in Greece. It’s def up to regular western EU standards, with numerous benefits and a salary which you can actually live with in Greece, where the cost of living is super disproportional to the salaries provided by most employers. Excellent new initiatives include the parental program and setting a minimum wage for the entire company (one that is practically double the min wage in GR). Most of the employees and management are very kind, and I personally have not experienced any toxic workplace feuds.

Cons

There have been soooo many core changes in the last 2 years. While the company is now heading to much better direction in my opinion, there was so much instability for a big period of time and it’s very normal for employees to feel insecure. You can’t just expect people to not be phased by 3 CEO changes in less than 2 years, and just “adapt”. The approach of the new CEO to announce everything on his own, without using an HR person, is not optimal for a company of 250 people. That’s a personal opinion. Generally, not having an HR lead anymore does not align with a company of 250 people, it enhances the feeling of instability for many of us (even though certain employees in HR are excellent- they just can’t influence as much).
