Pros

Great pay, good benefits, vacation accrual

Cons

No work/life balance, lack of support from management, micromanagement, forced hours, never out on time so cannot plan for even dinner with my family. Do not recommend if you have a life outside of work. Recruiters will promise you all kinds of things that are absolutely not accurate. All training after your initial 6 weeks is shotty at best.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that your workload and schedule have impacted your work/life balance and overall experience on the team. That’s not the experience we want anyone to have, and your feedback is important. We appreciate you highlighting the positives around pay, benefits, and vacation, and we take seriously the concerns you raised about scheduling, support from management, and the training process. We know how critical it is—especially in customer‑facing roles to feel supported, set up for success, and able to manage responsibilities outside of work. Your comments about expectations during hiring and the clarity of goals will be taken into consideration. We will share this input with the appropriate teams so we can review how we communicate, train, and support employees throughout their time here. Thank you again for your honesty. We’re committed to improving the employee experience.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve experienced strong support from your team — that’s something we value highly. We understand that some roles, especially early on, can feel repetitive as employees build foundational knowledge. Many teams offer opportunities to take on additional projects or expand responsibilities over time, and we encourage employees to speak with their managers about ways to diversify their experience and grow. We appreciate your insights and your contributions to Eversource.

Pros

The people you work with are often wonderful

Cons

This is the most political place I have ever worked. The company was formed by the merger of several companies. One of them took power and everyone who came up in that company is part of the good old boys club. Everyone else is not. You will not be part of the club. Their best people are leaving and what is left is the dregs and the "club". Electric and gas are being constrained more and more every year by new regulations and decreased profits. Each year the work culture is due more with less and there are fewer and fewer opportunities. I imagine they are going to keep cutting corners and firing people until they have a major accident, and then look around in surprise.
