Pros

Job security Health benefits Retirement benefits

Cons

Pay is not monitored or reviewed based on current times. People are hired into positions making far more than what current employees in the same position make. Work life balance is reserved for hourly employees only. If you are salary you are not allowed the same flexibility. Example of this is requiring salary employees to be in office several times per week while hourly work from home full time. So if you are a manager, you have to be in office while everyone who works for you is home. It doesn’t make sense.

Sorry to hear you are not having a positive experience. I do want to share that compensation and benefits are reviewed annually so we are competitive with market pay. Please reach out to HR to discuss in more detail.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve experienced strong support from your team — that’s something we value highly. We understand that some roles, especially early on, can feel repetitive as employees build foundational knowledge. Many teams offer opportunities to take on additional projects or expand responsibilities over time, and we encourage employees to speak with their managers about ways to diversify their experience and grow. We appreciate your insights and your contributions to Eversource.

Pros

The people you work with are often wonderful

Cons

This is the most political place I have ever worked. The company was formed by the merger of several companies. One of them took power and everyone who came up in that company is part of the good old boys club. Everyone else is not. You will not be part of the club. Their best people are leaving and what is left is the dregs and the "club". Electric and gas are being constrained more and more every year by new regulations and decreased profits. Each year the work culture is due more with less and there are fewer and fewer opportunities. I imagine they are going to keep cutting corners and firing people until they have a major accident, and then look around in surprise.
