Some workmates make the place semi bearable.

The contract includes the following clause: “You will be required to work such additional hours as may be necessary to perform your duties for which you will receive no additional payment.” Refuse the extra hours and you’ll be dragged into a meeting with your branch manager, Hr and probably the regional manager, where you’ll be told “this was explained to you at interview” and threatened with “maybe this job isn’t for you.” So expect to give up your evenings, weekends, and family time for free. If you don’t your job is on the line. Targets are unrealistic and now doubled from 1 loan per day to 2 per day per lender — impossible without even more unpaid hours. Bonuses are slashed in value, changed constantly, and deliberately structured so they’re almost impossible to achieve without lots of additional unpaid hours. Staff morale is non-existent no matter what HR comments on this review. Any attempt to question or challenge management is dismissed as “negative.” Read all reviews on here and make your own mind up. For clarity, I believe some staff were asked to add positive reviews to try and balance out the negative ones. Make of that what you will.
