Pros

Better than no job, seriously, that's the only thing.

Cons

After waiting forever to finally get cleared to work, you quickly lose the excitement of the "new job" after learning what the miserable and boring day to day responsibilities are, to hearing how other analysts have gotten treated, and just the overall work environment leads to not being happy. The two leaders of the company are disconnected from the analysts even though the company is very small which shows they could care less about anyone in the NOC. They are very smart business people which makes you even more frustrated because they are competent to see issues but don't do anything about it. There is absolutely no career progression at this job which haunts the back of your head the whole time you are working there. The pay is very average for NOC analysts compared to what other companies pay which leads to analysts constantly leaving once they get 1 good offer outside of EvoTech. They highly discouraged analysts talking about pay with each other which should just show you all the red flags you need. Some getting paid more than others for no real good reason, some not getting raises when others have, or EvoTech not giving analysts what they need in order for them to stay in the first place. Only work there if you have no other offers and don't expect much out of this company.

Pros

There’s a lot to learn here, and the company truly supports your growth. They invest in certifications and give you chances to take on real responsibilities, which helps build both skills and confidence.

Cons

Sometimes work-life balance can get tricky during peak times, but it's manageable and usually temporary.

Pros

Some coworkers are good to work with that actually do their job.

Cons

The environment actively discourages professional growth. Instead of supporting employees who want to learn and advance, the company seems to stifle initiative. More concerning is the leadership's tendency to reward bad behavior. Employees who engage in unprofessional conduct or undermine team cohesion often face no consequences, while those trying to do the right work are left unsupported. For anyone looking for a safe place to build their career or develop their skills in network operations, this is not the right environment. The lack of psychological safety and the misalignment of rewards make it difficult to thrive here.
