Pros

Bagels on Tuesday and pizza/salad on Wednesday. A nice perk if you’re into that type of thing Their pay is actually not bad if you get lucky enough to only do one job The people are pretty nice if you’re looking to make friends

Cons

Oh boy, is there a word limit? Today takes the cake, as the company was not paid on payday. It was blamed on our 3rd party payment system that they had an issue and the funds were sent today. Who sends funds to a payroll company the day payments are due to be sent out?! Then they were very shady about even keeping us updated, only one simple “we’re looking into it” email all day, which assured us the funds would be deposited by end of day. But, surprise surprise, we’re not getting paid til “probably Monday”. Their systems are extremely antiquated. As someone with experience in multiple speaker bureaus, I’ve never seen something so archaic. It would be easier to keep everything on pieces of paper than to use their system! They require 3 days a week in the office, and scold those who don’t adhere to that policy by threatening to take it away for the whole company. All of our competitors are truly hybrid or fully remote, and it’s no wonder employees are having mass exodus! Also, when employees leave, you are expected to absorb their work with no new team members joining. The 2 teams I support are doing the work of 2, if not 3, employees each.

Pros

EHG has some of the best people I have ever worked with. Its a diverse group of marketers, creatives, scientists and technologists. We work with a variety of big pharma and emerging life science firms. We work hard but have fun. The arrow is pointing up for 2025 regarding growth.

Cons

Being a small med comm firm, we run lean and everyone has to wear a few hats. Its not a place for those who simply want to manage and not be part of getting the work done

Pros

There are some really talented day to day people that were great to work with. I enjoyed working here originally but the past 6 months or so there was a huge culture shift

Cons

New VP-level leadership (who call themselves the 'trio') are extremely difficult to work with and just aren't good people, causing day to day employees to leave in droves. They have no idea what their employees do on a daily basis and don't take the time to ask for the input of people who have been at the company for much longer than themselves. Perks (PTO, holidays, etc) and pay are well below industry standard. Raises/promotions are hung in front of peoples faces to keep them working but they take several months to actually happen, or they don't happen at all. There have been multiple rounds of layoffs in the past few years where good day to day workers are let go and poor VP-level 'leaders' are retained.
