The company is small- you need to be self starting, take initiative on projects, and use common sense and intuition to be successful here. Not for someone on the timid side.

As an Account Assistant that was promoted to Account Associate, I communicated with media off the bat and grew my contacts/portfolio significantly faster than other Assistant AE. The clients are interesting and diverse, which allows you to discover what you are interested in. Compensation is greater than other PR firms with regular 6-month performance reviews.

Direct deposit is not an option and you are hand given a paycheck bi-weekly. This may lead to occasions when you are not paid on time. Sr. Management is willing to hand-write you compensation if this occurs.
