No system in place for already existing staff and new onboarding staff to get acquainted efficiently which thus leaves employees having to pick up the pieces of a design that 'LONG TERM EMPLOYEES' don't know how to introduce people into intricate systems and assume they will just know by a few words here and there, then when following up with further questions for more in depth knowledge they suggest that, that would be hand-holding (help and advice given to someone when they are doing something for the first time). Management are not up to speed enough to understand that suggested technologies and modern ways of doing stuff are actually helpful and allow for perpetual pitfalls not to happen time and time again. Long term solutions shows foresight while short term gains shows no wisdom.
