Pros

Great colleagues who are unfortunately stuck in the same position as myself.

Cons

there is very little communication from higher ups. Progression plas are very rarely followed through with. No yearly pay increases. What more do i need to say? I find this company is very hard to be loyal to work with long term. you can stay here find no progression no matter how good you are at your field you won't ever see any kind of pay increase unless you force your managers to counter off you when you eventually find a much better position else where. Starting salaries are awful by comparison to other organisations, Glass doors average wage checker provides more than enough proof for this. Exertis is within the lowest 10% of average wages for most positions within the company. Even if you are in a business critical position which I am you are made to feel like you really aren't valued to the business or as an employee. If you were there would be yearly pay increases and extra benefits outside of the yearly increase in holiday which is nothing special compared to other organisations. Contracts are not followed or cared about: I'm contracted to have pay reviews which in the 3 years I've been in the business I've not had a single one. In conclusion; The business has a huge turnover of staff for a reason which won't be resolved any time soon. Staff are underpaid undervalued and just get more demoralised year after year, managers don't value their staff and don't care how they feel. Managers have been confronted multiple times regarding employee's pay within my section of the business. No changes have been made and I expect no changes will. This is especially as insulting when these managers are taking more than your entire monthly wage in their quarterly bonuses. I'll change this review when employees start receiving basic yearly pay increases and quality of life considerations within the business.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and apologies that you feel negatively about your time at Exertis. I am surprised to hear that you feel that employees are not valued or provided with training given the large amount of development courses and opportunities provided by our Talent & Development Team, as well as the Personal Development Plans encouraged across the business. I would encourage you to discuss your opportunities with your line manager and contact me on Susie.Corke@exertis.co.uk if you would like further information about opportunities across the business. Kind regards, Susie
