Pros

The people I used to work with were some of the most dedicated, smart, loyal and unique people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Halloween events and Christmas parties were fun.

Cons

Post-merger Experity felt like a hostile takeover. Practice Velocity leadership came in, gutted the DocuTAP team and promoted all their staff into leadership positions while DocuTAP staff, even those more qualified, with more years of experience suddenly had new bosses that didn't have a clue what they were doing. In my first meeting with the CEO, he told me he could automate my job which then turned into HR and other C suite execs scrambling. I got a lot of "he just speaks before he thinks" excuses. Basically, Experity PM and EMR is the Practice Velocity product with all of the great functionality the DocuTAP product has. Anyone saying that the product is new is lying. There are huge gaps in the software and functionality that remains unaddressed. I honestly don't know how they passed certification. Sales and leadership make promises and set unrealistic timeline expectations that equate to vaporware but expect development and QA to give up nights and weekends to get it done. I don't know how there are so many 5 star reviews. When I left, everyone that I talked said they were jealous and wished they could get out. I guess I didn't drink enough of the kool-aid.

Thank you for the feedback. With regards to your comments regarding our products and staffing practices - your comments are blatantly false as is illustrated by our independent third party certifications. That being said, we understand certain legacy company employees were never going to entertain the idea of combining DocuTAP and Practice Velocity since the two companies were such rivals in the industry for so many years. Regardless, we take all feedback and evaluate how we can do better and would welcome any further dialogue you would like to share.

Pros

Work from home position only good

Cons

This workplace operates in a cult‑like environment where management benefits while the rest of the staff is left struggling. Leadership consistently displays unprofessional behavior, and instead of supporting employees, they create an atmosphere of fear, favoritism, and division. Management openly flaunts their own financial comfort while many employees can barely afford basic needs. Rather than building people up, they talk down to staff and make it clear that only those at the top matter. The leads lack real leadership skills — they don’t guide, they don’t support, and they certainly don’t set a positive example. There is also a pattern of pushing personal beliefs onto employees, which is inappropriate and creates a hostile and uncomfortable work environment. Instead of fostering teamwork, they encourage competition, gossip, and drama. It often feels like teams are intentionally pitted against each other, creating unnecessary tension and stress. Overall, the culture is unhealthy, unbalanced, and discouraging. Employees deserve a workplace where leadership is professional, supportive, and respectful — not one where intimidation, favoritism, and drama are the norm.
