Pros
Many sharp, driven colleagues, nice office space, fridges stocked with beverages, and a truly unique and valuable suite of investment solutions (products). A work hard mentality that actually stops at the weekend, which is a breath of fresh air, having come from a 24/7 environment. I believe hard work here will be acknowledged through a strong bonus, but have not yet experienced that cycle. 100% paid health insurance and HSA to offset deductible.
Cons
Speed can take precedence over quality, which is a common start-up issue. Along with the intellectual capital, comes a stable of big egos that can be challenging to navigate, staffing shortages in areas that need it most to keep up with business, and lack of flexibility (no flex time or remote worker options). Health plan with deductible is a pain in the butt, despite it still being a good deal.
