Pros
F3EA is a good opportunity for those looking to enter a familiar environment after they end their military service. You are basically just a C-school instructor in civilian clothing. Good way to give back to the military and ease your way back into civilian life. You will forget, at times, that you are no longer in the military.
Cons
Strenuous work hours with no real "down time" between courses. Your primary role is customer satisfaction, and your leadership isn't much support in advocating on your behalf. If you speak up about concerns or report issues you get laid off. Everyone is expected to just "roll with the punches". You have to constantly chase leadership for COL raises, performance raises, etc. HQ is extremely disconnected from sub-sites, and make business calls purely off perception. A lot of really good people were on the courses once upon a time, but poor leadership and treatment pushed them out or laid them off and kept mediocre members who were willing to sit by. You will be just a number. Personal life/problems are ignored. Very reactive company with no strategic, longterm mindset or planning. Retention is embarrassing. There is definitely a sense of favoritism/"Old Boys Club". Sever lack of diversity.
