Pros
Good pay, benefits -what you would expect working for the gov. That's about where it ends though with no career advancement.
Cons
Not much room for real advancement. Any training you might have talked about doing gets cut as funding dwindles. Sometimes can't even do your job at the end of FY as, again, funding dwindles.
