Pros
-Opportunity to work with smart/intelligent people -Opportunity to wear all sorts of hats while being able to work on all phases of the project. Not confined to just one responsibility -Flat management. Communication open with all level of management and teams
Cons
-Biased career growth. The chances of climbing up the ladder is limited only to the those who are buddies with the management -Unrealistic expectations of learning the new system -Training program is comprehensive but almost useless while trying to apply it in a project -Transfer of knowledge is very limited. Only a few actually know how the system works -Even programmers/developers have a difficult time understanding how the system works
