Just before the world shut down during Covid, the company started moving towards a flexible workplace by offering a hybrid approach. The idea was to focus on work-life balance through the understanding that employee happiness was key. Fast forward to October 2023 and here we are heading back to the office 5 days. Tone deaf approach, laughable reasons for the bait and switch, all around ignorance and disrespect...Did you know that working from home can cause muscular atrophy, with the only solution being in the office? DYK that the only way to pass experience to new hires is by being in the office? DYK that if you leave the company there's no guarantee you'll be hired back? These are all quotable reasons...threats? for why the "return to office culture" is needed again. Forget employee surveys dictating an immense preference for hybrid work...THIS is a return to inflexibility...THIS is FM Global!
