Pros
- You get to fast-track your career. Lot’s of opportunities to grow in design field - The code base is solid with a focus on Typescript - salary is fair - product quality is high - you get to work for famous large Japanese companies
Cons
- no work-life balance. Literally none. OT hours can go up to the insane. They expect you to be at the office the entire day. Meetings after 9pm, coming in on weekends; every second of your time can become company time if they deem it neccesary and it will likely be announced last minute. You had plans today at 10pm? Too bad you just got assigned to do finish multiple pages on the day itself at 8pm. - way too much workload. Most people collapse under the pressure and quit. - the environment is not as global as they present it.
