Cons
It's hard to put a label on the massive amounts of cons, so let's start from biggest offenders
-Management. To say that the current administration has a clue as to what is going on is a lie. Decisions are made constantly to change how things work in the company only to have those changes changed shortly thereafter. There's no transparency on the direction the company is going in, and there are no town hall meetings to help us stay on course for some kind of tangible goal. Policy means nothing here, performance feedback doesn't exist and many hard working and good people have been terminated for actions not their own fault.
-Benefits. Benefits are ok. Company does an ok job with 401k matching, but the vacation policy here is below standard for the industry. All new employees are only allowed 1 week vacation for the first 3 years of employment. It's written in stone and completely non negotiable. How is a family ran corporate environment so far behind the corporate world on leave and sick time??
-Environment. This place is an open office floor plan. Only managers are allowed offices, the rest of staff are all in giant no walls cubicles in a giant cube farm like you see in the movies.
-Nepotism. Yes you read that right. This company is technically not a corporation. It's just an extremely large LLC. The company is run like an episode of Bridgerton. The company has policies in place to protect the company, but you as an employee are at the mercy of social standing here. Step on the wrong toes, make the wrong comment to the wrong person or flat out just make one of the upper management upset and you're in deep trouble. Likewise, getting promoted here requires a lot of brown nosing. You're very much expected to work your role and to not try and venture into other roles or that gets frowned on too.
