Pros

Casual work attire, laid back coworkers, family feel in certain aspects. Work/Life balance is even, if not in favor of Life.

Cons

I’ll spare the novel, as someone has already written a pretty accurate one. Overall, the company needs middle management. There is no structure or leadership at any level of the organization. No opportunity for growth. It’s a frat house environment. Very toxic culture. The President has the emotional range of a hormonal teenager and no one to reel him in. Consistantly shooting nerf guns at employees, practicing his golf chip shots in the hallway, playing ping pong in meeting rooms, publicly reprimanding or humiliating employees. Plays absolute favorites, only promotes his inner circle. Management is useless and absent (unless you’re negatively affecting their bottom line, then they suddenly appear). Benefits are garbage. Pay is garbage. The bonuses are laughable. If you’re looking for an easy, data entry based gig, you’ve found it. If you want a career, I’d recommend you apply elsewhere.

Pros

- Company is growing in a down market, happy to be at a privately owned, stable company! - Lots of growth opportunities. FSBR owns multiple companies across many cities & states. - Healthy amount of benefit options (med, dental vision, 401K match, life & LTD company paid policies). - Leadership open-door policy that they mean! Able to reach out to and chat with mangers & senior leaders who truly take what your saying to heart. - Lots of employee engagement, recognition & events to celebrate our accomplishments.

Cons

- Time off Policies lack - Flexible schedule/remote work not an option

Cons

It's hard to put a label on the massive amounts of cons, so let's start from biggest offenders -Management. To say that the current administration has a clue as to what is going on is a lie. Decisions are made constantly to change how things work in the company only to have those changes changed shortly thereafter. There's no transparency on the direction the company is going in, and there are no town hall meetings to help us stay on course for some kind of tangible goal. Policy means nothing here, performance feedback doesn't exist and many hard working and good people have been terminated for actions not their own fault. -Benefits. Benefits are ok. Company does an ok job with 401k matching, but the vacation policy here is below standard for the industry. All new employees are only allowed 1 week vacation for the first 3 years of employment. It's written in stone and completely non negotiable. How is a family ran corporate environment so far behind the corporate world on leave and sick time?? -Environment. This place is an open office floor plan. Only managers are allowed offices, the rest of staff are all in giant no walls cubicles in a giant cube farm like you see in the movies. -Nepotism. Yes you read that right. This company is technically not a corporation. It's just an extremely large LLC. The company is run like an episode of Bridgerton. The company has policies in place to protect the company, but you as an employee are at the mercy of social standing here. Step on the wrong toes, make the wrong comment to the wrong person or flat out just make one of the upper management upset and you're in deep trouble. Likewise, getting promoted here requires a lot of brown nosing. You're very much expected to work your role and to not try and venture into other roles or that gets frowned on too.
