Pros

FTC Kids offers incredibly rewarding work and a meaningful mission, helping children reach their fullest potential through both traditional and holistic therapies. Employees have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OT, PT, Speech, and ABA professionals, which supports professional growth and skill development. Many colleagues are passionate, supportive, and genuinely care about the children they serve, making the workday fulfilling and impactful.

Cons

The workplace culture can be frustrating and toxic. Leadership communication is inconsistent and unpredictable, leaving employees unsure of expectations. Cliques and favoritism within the leadership team foster gossip, tension, and a hostile environment if you have opposing views. Combined with high workloads, this can make day-to-day work stressful and draining.

Pros

FTC Kids is a place where clinicians are empowered to grow into experts in their craft. Employees are genuinely invested in and provided with the tools, mentorship, and resources needed to develop both their skills and passions. While expectations are high, the environment is deeply supportive—well suited for individuals who strive to do their best work and consistently show up for the children and families they serve.

Cons

This is not a workplace for those seeking to simply get by. FTC Kids is best suited for professionals who are motivated, engaged, and committed to providing high-quality care to their clients every day.

Pros

FTC Kids is an incredibly rewarding place to work if you’re passionate about pediatric therapy. The owner is approachable, willing to offer advice for harder cases and has a unique approach to therapy. The clinical team is supportive, collaborative, and full of skilled therapists who genuinely want each other to succeed. Everyone is focused on doing what’s best for the kids and families, and you can feel the positive impact every day. There’s a ton of clinical knowledge floating around and plenty of opportunities to learn from colleagues.

Cons

The pace is intense and the expectations are high from leadership and the owner in particular. The company is growing quickly, so changes in scheduling, documentation, systems, and processes happen frequently and often with short notice. Communication is constant (group texts, emails, meetings) which can feel like over-communication and can be overwhelming at times. You have to be extremely flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing at a high level even when things are shifting fast.
