Pros
Majority of teams have extremely talented and some of the nicest people I have ever worked with. Have fostered many genuine friendships. Great culture / atmosphere & work can be interesting. Remote working is a huge plus. Non-exec management & HR are very supportive and available when needed.
Cons
No bonuses last year, paid small amounts monthly year before last. Salaries are very low compared to similar roles elsewhere/ cost of living Lack of transparency from leadership Career progression is difficult (promoted once in 4 years) Recent promotion freezes and redundancies creating uncertainty in job security. Work/life balance is workstream dependent.
