-Fantastic 911 experience -Plenty of overtime opportunities -Education, event coverage, and additional training opportunities
Cons
-Disconnect from Managers. Union reps, and Admin. Feels like no one really understands and cares for the EMTs in the field (not everyone is like this, but there’s too many to ignore) -Union contract feels like a too good to be true deal, lots of ambiguous wording that doesn’t specify specific policies that leaves room for whoever interprets it to abuse it either way (higher management)
