Because this is a small healthcare facility (25 bed hospital, rural clinic, laboratory, radiology, etc) you really learn who everyone is. Also, they had specialized doctors come in for minor surgeries which made it more convenient for the citizens in the rural community and surrounding communities.

Because it is a rural hospital, the payscale for some like secretaries, billing, CNA folks was okay, but not what it would be in a large city. But, you didn't have to drive far to work!

All employees get free coffee.

It cannot be stated vehemently enough: look elsewhere for employment. The management turns a blind eye to bad supervisors and staff. My manager literally admitted to setting me up for failure and laughed when he told me. Don't believe all the fluff training courses they put in place: the few bad apples ruin it for everyone else.
