AVOID! - Fundraiser Family First Professionals Employee Review

Totally messed me around. Took me on for an ‘Events Fundraiser’ role. I’ve never done a job like this before, aside from the initial training which was essentially sitting and watching some PowerPoints on zoom, with no actual training, I received absolutely NO support. Was sent home early on my first day, told to come in the day after. Went in the day after, sat down and said I needed more training, to learn my pitch and have someone going through it all properly with me. Was told this wasn’t acceptable and sent me home again after I’d travelled an hour and a half to the office, to sit there for ten minutes and have no support or reasonable adjustments made for a new starter who had never done the role before. Manager told me he would call me later on that day to see how I was getting on with ‘learning my pitch in the mirror to myself (🫠)’ and never heard from them. Now refusing to pay me for the hours I worked or my training due to the fact I have no way of returning the jumper they gave me. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
