Pros
There is a great team spirit, at the HQ, and also at the other offices (London, Cologne, Zurich) It is a stimulating environment with lot of stuff to do and to be accomplished. I sincerely had a great time working with FastNed. Also, the employment policy is interesting long term. Although I did not identify to some of the values of the brand, being open about it, and doing so in a "outside the comfort zone" move was appreciated. It is accepted that we can disagree on stuff, as long at it stays polite / clean / reasonable way of disagreeing. Not everybody does that, and I see this as a real plus point. I genuinely had a great time, and a stimulating job.
Cons
Some growing pains, and a feeling of disorganization, especially with new countries. The wannabe horizontal startup-like decision chain leads to time losses and confusion. Although that is easy to deal with at HQ, it can get complicated when abroad. My situation got a bit complicated after the end of my contract, with lots of administrative issues beetween countries. This is partly understandable when you ping-pong beetween countries but also a consequence of a lack of organization. Évaluation détails : Career opportunities : hard to say after 6 months. Probably reasonable, hard to say in my field. Salary and bonuses : salary was in the lower 25% "usual salaries" (architect, canton ZH- source by the federal authorities), however, there are very interesting benefits for long term employees (stock options) and cool car free-fleeting system in HQ In my case I would go for 2 stars, maybe more for the other people. No one looked broke, struggling or so, so it should be good on the long run. I put 3 based on that, might be wrong. Ceo is really great and inspiring. Would put 6 stars there. Some unclarities with lower management staff, but they were open about it, and the situation was also pretty special and that did not help. (home office, then new office, and then Covid) Values : brand has good core values, interesting approach. Did not connect with some people's outlook on life but everybody is different.
