Pros
I moved to Fehr Graham four months ago, and this was my best decision. I thought my previous company was flexible and was very nervous about changing jobs for the first time... There are so many pros about Fehr Graham: - Family-oriented team They care about me and the fact that I have family and kids. They're very flexible, and I am able to adjust my hours to fit my kid's responsibilities. - Great compensation Fehr Graham valued my skills and provided a salary of 40% more than what I was making! They'll do their best to bring highly skilled people and ensure high-quality work. - Interesting new projects My previous work was limited to a couple of projects, and now I am able to get involved in any projects that interest me. I do water quality, stormwater, project management, permitting, master planning, and more! - Amazing leader The best thing that really caught my eye is Mick! Can you believe he spends the time every morning to send an email to all the employees sharing some daily tips about soft skills and how to go by your day? He cares about work and the company, but he values the human and encourages everyone to go enjoy the weekend every Friday! - RELAXED! I've never been more relaxed in my work since the last eight years of consulting. Yes, you gotta meet deadlines, but the work is reasonable, and you don't feel pressured. - Opportunities I like business development and bringing new ideas to improve the work quality. This is encouraged by everyone. They appreciate any new, simple idea, even if it's just an Excel sheet template for something. -No toxic boss Your supervisor is not your boss... Meaning you don't get pressured by a call from him. Everyone is trying to help you feel welcomed and comfortable. Expectations are reasonable. There is so much to list!!!!
Cons
I don't see any cons and I am sure things will be even better with the open opportunities in front of me.
