Pros

• The team members below director levels are mostly great people and good to work with. • The renovated office is pretty, but small (don’t expect to get your steps in) • It is a flexible workplace that provides a good work/life balance

Cons

• Low to mid-level workers are overworked and underappreciated with negligible pay increases • Vacation policy for new hires does not match what other companies give • The industry itself is declining • Lack of differentiation in the industry with me too products at higher prices • Onboarding is nonexistent, and associates aren’t trained in everything they need to do to be effective • Many legacy employees don’t share knowledge to protect their own interests • CEO micromanages to the smallest details • The culture doesn’t create a supportive atmosphere for new ideas or divergent opinions there are only a handful of influencers that make decisions • It takes longer to develop new products than other organizations

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your experience while employed here at Fellowes. We are happy that you enjoyed working with your peers and were able to balance work and life well. With a new HR team, we are currently assessing our compensation, incentive and benefit offerings, and will definitely be taking a close look to make sure we are competitive with the market in regards to vacation time and merit increases as we move forward. We are let down that you didn't feel supported as you onboarded, leading to a negative experience off the bat. We know those first few weeks are crucial to someone's success here. The existing onboarding program is one area our team immediately saw as needing a makeover. We will actually be launching a completely revamped and enhanced onboarding and orientation program in the new year to better support our new hires as they integrate into Fellowes. This will include a formal Buddy Program, a more structured onboarding/training schedule beyond day one and more information up front on our company, our products and our vision/goals moving forward. Pros

Good health insurance and PTO. I enjoyed working with my peers.

Cons

Depending on what manager you get, watch out. HR sweeps all complaints under the rug when a manager is considered "indispensable". Complaints not just by me, but an ENTIRE TEAM. A manager who completely lacks people skills, only technical ones, shouldn't even be a manager.
