Worked several years for company that was later bought by Ferguson (pre-2007). Ferguson made no effort to interview or get to know existing staff; management positions only available through their own training program, yet they did not offer management training program to existing staff; transferred in new management teams; very poor communication during transition; human resources staff extremely taxed and difficult to establish communication with; insist on fifty hour weeks from all salaried employees regardless of workload and without additional compensation; acutely painful corporate culture with many electronic tools for monitoring staff "efficiency"
