Not worth the money - Maintenance/Landscaping Ferns Group Employee Review

Great aesthetic, friendly staff, decent money.

The manager is as egocentric bully with a raging inferiority complex who sadly who micromanages the busier it gets. Loves getting in the way and throw his weight around. After speaking with HR, theres been multiple complaints against him. But the owner refuses to take any action.

Great office environment, good people to work with, management are fair and supportive. Parking is free, car charging facilities available, full training and support given by colleagues and everyone is very approachable if you need help. Best part of this job was that I didn't mind being stuck in an office for 10 hours a day with those guys.

the quarry is very dusty (sand quarry) - this dust gets everywhere and makes vehicles very dirty - though there is a jet wash on site that can be used free of charge. The workload can be high, very busy and very demanding, sometimes it can be quiet but it can also be extremely busy and high stress at times, weekend working is not contracted but expected regularly.
