Pros
Excellent culture. While the company has been around a long time, they really have the feel of a new company since they are growing and learning since their merger a few years ago. I worked in Oak Brook and visited many sites, one consistent trait was professionalism. People cared. The C-Level was always approachable and the company is doing an excellent job on building engagement and defining their future.
Cons
As with any place of work, you will have high performers and those who stall projects. Ferrara is no different and you have to make sure people are held accountable for what they are responsible for, and not be concerned that Sal hired them years ago so they get a free pass on execution.
