Supportive Environment and Great Campus, but Compensation Falls Short - Brokerage Operations Specialist Fidelity TalentSource Employee Review

Pros

The hybrid model was pretty nice, coming in one week out of each month and the campus is beautiful. It did not give you the "dread" of coming into office. The department I was in, the team was fairly supportive. The hardest part is the older system and keeping commands straight. I learned several different processes in my time here. I built great relationships with some of my colleagues.

Cons

Medical benefits are not good at all and pay was extremely low. There was zero negotiation on the salary. I believe you can contribute to a 401K, I cannot recall if they match or not. PTO was very difficult to come by. If you are in a pinch and need a job, I say do what you need to do, learn what you can but if not I would not recommend.

Pros

Subsidized cafeteria and nice campus Great co-workers. High caliber of people that I work with at all levels, but it is also a very high-profile project.

Cons

Few contract opportunities. In my role, really wasn't opportunity to work on other projects. People stay a long time, again limits opportunities. Because the 401(k) requires 5 years to vest! Client service teams were ok. Definitely needs improvement.

Pros

none none none none none

Cons

No PTO. No vacation. Horrible health insurance options. Minimum effort by leads and management. Favoritism. Toxic work environment in the Teams chats. Nothing done when reporting harassment of a coworker - retaliation experienced after reporting the harassment.
