Pros

Get to work with a great ,well established brand

Cons

- Selling stock into shops at a more expensive price than they can get it them selves and with a very short date! - Management will be on your back if you don't do the job 'there way' -You don't get sick pay - They will make you pay for a tiny scratch on your car - Bonus scheme is completely unrealistic - If stock gets damaged or gos out of date in your car you have to pay.

Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback, we always welcome this and treat it as an opportunity to continue to improve and learn as a team. As you have taken the time to give us some feedback, we would like to take the time to address each of your points in turn- The price at which you were asked to sell stock is unfortunately out of our hands and determined by Sweet Direct, from whom the stock is bought. Whilst it is true that this at time can be more expensive than some other suppliers, it can also at times be cheaper. This should not be a hindrance to the role, as the team are rarely targeted on selling volume, instead the focus is on building distribution, meaning that if the retailer wanted to buy stock from elsewhere that would not normally be a problem. In terms of doing the job ‘management’s way’, it is true that we have certain processes and methods which we encourage the team to follow, as we have found these to be effective, however we fully appreciate that to be a successful sales person you must use your individual personality and that is something we strongly encourage. We do pay statutory sick pay, in line with industry norms. With regards to paying for damage to company cars; we follow the leasing industry standard BVRLA guidelines which determine what should be considered fair wear and tear and what should not. We do completely appreciate that unexpected costs for car damage can be difficult to deal with and to try and help with that we offer an employee savings scheme, which can help to cover these costs should it be needed. We have recently reviewed our bonus structure following feedback in our twice yearly anonymous employee survey and have changed the criteria needed to achieve the bonus and are finding that a significantly higher proportion of people are now achieving the bonus. If stock is damaged or goes out of date through no fault of the employee, we will of course not expect them to have to pay for that.
