Where do I start, this has got to be the worst experience in my entire work history and the shortest role I have ever found myself in. May I start by agreeing with all the reviews that have been posted before mine (April 2020).
The CEO of the business Syed Khurso Kamal is self-centred, arrogant, small minded individual. He is an apparent millionaire and guru of the finance business world which couldn't be more further away from the truth. What I have witnessed at this company has really opened my eyes to 'Rogue Directors' and people who abuse their power at the top of the chain.
The business model is great however the way this company executes its business couldn't be more illegal and morally wrong if anyone tried to. I feel particular sorry for all Car Dealerships and Consumers that are in contact with Finance Giant / Car Finance Giant. Dealerships are led to believe they will be paid on time and paid within 5 working days when they aren't. There are over 20 dealerships who have released cars to consumers during the month of March without payment being given to them from Finance Giant. These vehicles range from £4000 - £30,000.
On the contrary, consumers are made to pay a 'Mandatory Fee' ranging from £299 - £499 for arranging finance, once the finance has been approved for the customer the lenders pay Finance Giant on the same day in full for the customers vehicle but for some strange reason, Car Finance Giant take more than 20 Days in some cases to send these funds to the dealerships. This has led to many customers have their cars taken from them from the dealership due to non payment and finance agreements still being intact meaning customers are charged for a vehicle they do not have.
Internally, you are promised the world at interview however once you are on the floor that is a distant memory. The CEO paces up and down the calling floor, micromanaging all executives, constantly abusing his power in the poor manner he speaks to all employees. For me, the way business was conducted and consumers treated was appalling. Customers crying on the phone every time we answered the phone only for us to have to tell them no one was available to take their call throughout the accounts, complaints and non existent HR department.
I am still awaiting to be paid for my services to the company, no payslips and over 6 weeks delay in receiving my pay. There is an awesome group of employees who I feel can be very successful at another company however due to fear of loosing their jobs my fellow ex-collegues do not want to speak up and express their views. Instead they are dealing with an owner who will constantly say everyones telephone manner is poor, we are crap sales professionals and if you cannot convert leads 'we should take ourselves to the same places people who commit suicides do'.
Facilities - Car Finance Giant are based on the first floor of Hilton Supermarket in Hayes, West London. There is 2 toilets shared between approx 40 staff members, there are no cleaners so as you can imagine toilets and hygiene is extremely poor. Kitchen facilities is literally a chair with duck tape wrapped around it, dirty microwave, kettle, tea bags however there is no cutlery, sugar and most days no milk.
Heating - As you can imagine working in a big empty showroom it can get cold and believe you me it does. Heaters do not work and the ones that are working tend to explode or blow heavy smoke from time to time. Desks, floors and windows are not cleaned, thick cobwebs and dead flies are littered around the showroom.
HR Team - There is no HR team however the Owner and Sales Manager who make it up as they go along. They claim to wanted to move to the next level but during my tenure of 6 weeks I have seen over 10 of my colleagues be dismissed for asking questions or challenging the management on providing heating, pay on time and various other issues.
Please take this review as face value, I am not exaggerating nor am I lying in anything stated above. Please avoid this company at all costs.
