Pros

Last year I joined FSS after a decade long payment MNc product development & architectural experience and now I could say that was the worst decision i took in my life by creating a black mark in my profile. In FSS i worked with few uncultured and unprofessional Dept heads who just order like military rulers (with poor communication skills and abusive language- Don’t know the meaning of what they say) also expect people to call them Sir... There were many old grey bags who are good for nothing (i.e not capable of finding any IT job outside fss) in FSS and most of the laterals will leave within 1-day to 1 year. Dept Heads are grown with this company and they don’t know what is happening in the software industry or they listen to anyone by asking question like “do you know about payments?). Dept. heads literally rip people for anything/everything and they expect people to take prior permission even before going to rest room. HR team is like bunch puppies and if some old grey bags says some nonsense and they just obey and ask new hire to leave FSS the as they don’t have any spine or power. Also you won’t be having access to HR area as some people went and bash at them in the past. In FSS My 2 lines of code for a production outage issue took 2 months to go to production because of their different wastage layers and internal politics. In FSS supervisors never ask subordinates before committing anything (whether it is outstation travel or a week end work). One day i seen dept. head was shouting to a group of people with uncontrolled abusive language mentioning that "he will throw everyone out through the window if they couldn’t complete the work immediately". FSS give systems which are disposed from other software companies (eg:2GB RAM) and engineers struggle on their environment on day to day basis as there I no net connection available to engineers to learn. They make money by torturing and exhausting fresher’s blood by locking 3 years bond and 3 months notice.

Cons

If you are not a technically capable person and fine to lick the leg in order to survive then only go with this company otherwise should not join this company at any cost to spoil your carrier.

Pros

Career Growth and Development: Microsoft is known for its investment in employee training and development. With opportunities for internal mobility, access to mentorship programs, and regular performance reviews, employees can grow their skills and advance in their careers. Innovative Culture: Microsoft emphasizes innovation and is at the forefront of tech trends like AI, cloud computing, and quantum computing. This focus on cutting-edge technology allows employees to work on impactful, meaningful projects that shape the future.

Cons

Constant Change and Reorganization The tech industry changes rapidly, and Microsoft frequently adjusts its organizational structure to adapt to new business priorities. These reorganizations can lead to uncertainty, disrupted workflows, and even job changes for employees. Limited Upward Mobility in Certain Areas Growth opportunities can be constrained in specific departments, as promotions can be competitive and contingent on manager support, performance reviews, and availability of roles. In some cases, employees feel they need to switch teams or locations to advance.
