Pros
Limited pros, Met some good colleagues who have sensibly also left!
Cons
Where to begin. Management is absolutely toxic. I never worked worked for such a self-serving bunch before in my life. Honestly, when a manager is getting the lowest possible score in the monthly employee survey, it’s ignored and told that the employees are the problem and not the manager. Clearly that’s not the case! Most of the stuff coming from above is trying to polish a poo. The Chief People Officer openly speaks about how they need to hire people of a certain ethnicity to meet their quotas, making those minorities feel as though they’re token hires and not there because of their skills. She claims to be passionate about DE&I but her lack of understanding about what that is, is laughable. Managers are incredibly overbearing, controlling and don’t allow anyone to get with their job. Salaries are way below market rate. They try and spin the unlimited holiday as a reason to underpay. Trust me when I say it isn’t worth it for a lower salary and a miserable work environment. If you want to be treated poorly, be overworked, underpaid, no career development or career progression, and be dictated on my by a chief People officer who is, quite frankly racist then go for it, otherwise avoid like the plague (or should I say covid?).
