Finxact is Great, Fiserv is Not - Engineer Finxact Employee Review

Great company and people to work with.

None that I can think of.

Finxact offers a positive and collaborative work environment. I enjoy the work I do and feel genuinely supported by my manager, who is fair, communicative, and respectful. The company provides meaningful projects, and the bonus structure is solid. My performance reviews consistently reflect that I do above-average work, which I believe is a fair and accurate evaluation.

Despite having the experience and performance to qualify for a senior-level role, I’ve been passed over for promotion due to internal budget decisions. In one case, I was told that another employee in a different role needed to be promoted, and there wasn’t room in the budget for both. This was disappointing, especially given the small size of the technical writing team and the fact that others have been hired directly into senior roles. Advancement seems to depend more on timing and internal politics than on merit or readiness.
