Pros
Hmm. Well, if you like South Lake Union (I do), then the location is nice? The office is also quite pretty at first glance...but once you're working there, you realize it's actually pretty suffocating, and the open floor plan (where everything you do/say can be monitored) only adds another weapon to management's arsenal for psychological warfare.
Cons
Honestly, I could copy/paste every "con" from the other negative reviews. I think it speaks volumes that most of these reviews point out the same problems. Look, this isn't just about one or two disgruntled employees. It's about a really crappy office culture and management style that makes this a truly demoralizing place to work, for nearly everybody who comes through. And while I'm happy there are at least a couple employees who enjoyed their time at F+A, there's a bizarre subtext to the positive reviews and to ownership's comments (not just here, but in office settings and discussions) that people who have problems with the F+A environment are simply not suited to high-stress environments with long hours. That's so silly! Don't fall for that nonsense. It has nothing to do with disliking high stress workplaces, and everything to do with disliking emotional terrorism.
