This job has been an exercise in frustration and career regression. • The Ultimate Bait-and-Switch: The role I was sold—working with a modern tech stack and exciting projects—was a complete fabrication. What I got was a one-way ticket to a legacy codebase with zero documentation. The disconnect between the interview and the reality of the job is staggering. • Knowledge Hoarding is the Norm: Don't expect any support. All project knowledge is locked away with one person who acts as a gatekeeper. Getting information is a challenge, and a proper KT is a fantasy. You will be isolated and expected to perform miracles. • Hostile Leadership: The leadership style here is best described as "figure it out yourself." Requirements are deliberately vague, but the deadlines are concrete. There is no psychological safety to ask questions, as leads are unapproachable and unhelpful. It's a culture of blame, not collaboration. • Career Graveyard: If you want to learn, grow, and stay relevant in the tech industry, run the other way. This place will halt your learning curve and drain your passion for software development. The constant layoffs in the organization only confirm that there is no stable future here.
