Firm has everything that an employee looks for - Associate First Quadrant Advisory Employee Review

I left a large corporation to work for FQA, wanting the opportunity to work for a smaller employer and dive into the world of external consulting. Each day, I am extremely confident in and happy about my choice to do so. This is an outstanding team. The breadth of client engagements is both impressive and presents a unique challenge to each employee. The leadership of our firm is accessible, empowering, and works hard to provide top-notch internal training opportunities and firm resources. My colleagues have such impressive backgrounds- lots of former big 4 consultants, employees at large payers or hospital systems, etc. Above all, I feel extremely valued at this firm and a part of a team where the work I do each day matters and makes an impact.

My biggest con simply stems from our current circumstances surrounded by the pandemic, which is that since starting at the firm, I have been unable to meet most of my coworkers face-to-face! In due time, this will change. :)

A firm that is extremely fast paced, but intentionally finds time for PD. Within a week of working there I had 2-3 reoccurring meetings with senior leadership to focus on professional & personal growth - extending even past training.

I haven't experienced many so far...
