Managers are promoted for their technical skills not their manager skills. The company is focused on expanding and increasing production to such an extent that there is little time for managers to get to know their operators and focus on the high turnover rate. Bad managers have driven off good employees. Departments within the company have differing objectives which causes confusion and frustration. Company benefits are slightly outdated and should be improved to help retain people. It is easy to move laterally but hard to move up vertically.
