The kids are amazing and you really can make a difference in their lives. Some coworkers genuinely care and try to help each other.

The pay is far too low for the demands of the job. Ratios for children with developmental delays are the same as facilities with kids without delays, which makes it impossible to give proper care. Management thrives on gossip and plays favorites.
