Pros

I met some really cool and talented people while interning here. We connected on LinkedIn.

Cons

The company was constantly disorganized and kept itself alive off of the labor of unpaid interns. The CEO cares more about chasing clout than about his own company. Incredibly unprofessional during meetings and would cut off clients mid-sentence to introduce a new client. You have no direction and yet are expected to do all of the work (for no pay, mind you). No one is there leading your team or teaching you industry skills. Me and the other unpaid interns got fed up and left en masse on day. It was glorious. Summary: You do all of the work and organization for no pay. You get to put up with a CEO who doesn't know what he's doing. You get to sit through painful meetings where the CEO gives false hopes and promises to his clients. If you're planning to intern here, don't. If you want to sign on with this company, don't. You're better off going solo and hitting it big on your own. Seriously, don't trust this company to help you grow.

Pros

-Decent experience for the resume -Opportunities to meet some big name clients -Teammates are talented, eager, and with a great work ethic -Comics division filled with opportunities for peer review and collaboration

Cons

This company is built on the backs of unpaid interns and dreamers who were suckered into thinking that FTE could help them pursue the starry-future they want to achieve. I am not exaggerating; everyone I worked with was an unpaid intern. The Team Leader, the graphic designers, the web designers, the people interviewing our clients, our clients' social media teams, EVERY PERSON I worked with in any meaningful capacity was an unpaid intern. I repeat: we were not paid money, college credits, or anything meaningful and tangible for our services. FTE's own projects - namely our comics division - was a phenomenal creative writing activity for collaboration and peer review, but nothing more; I had never seen a single sketch, illustration, or publication of any of our writers' concepts that had been sitting on a Google Drive for, as far as I could tell, ages. If you're looking to break out into the entertainment, media, or music industry, look elsewhere. You might be lucky enough to find a company that will value your time and reward you for it. The former Team Lead who left just a couple weeks before I did had worked here for a year - unpaid, and offered ZERO opportunity for any paid employment within FTE. To any of my former colleagues and teammates reading this review, I hope you are all doing well and I wish you the best - there is more talent and potential in each of you than this company deserves. (I will say, regarding opportunities - one client we worked with had attempted to recruit me to do freelance work after I left. I appreciated the offer, but due to the stress and anxiety brought on by how shady FTE was, I declined. This was one client out of the many we worked with, and I advise any potential job-seekers to not consider this the norm. Do NOT work here for free expecting a client or associate to hire you or pay you instead)
