Pros
This is a very interesting business in which to gain experience, since everybody uses electricity. I enjoyed the quantitative nature of the work, and the opportunities to gain more in-depth knowledge about topics like energy generation and distribution, as well as the nature of new deregulation policies in Ohio.
Cons
This is a conservative company. This means the overall pace of work is rather slow, and there's a bit of lack of motivation coming down from management. Again, the company is regulated by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio-meaning the bottom line is assured by political deals with PUCO, and not as much by efficiency and scale.
