Pros

Empowered to perform job with little to no management involvement. Work independently. Excellent work/life balance. 10 holidays a year, personal days, vacation days are above average. Manager expects excellence and rewards it. Takes care of staff. Treats employees as people and not just a means to an end. Handles the bad apples. Strongly believes in promoting from within!

Cons

Working through some bad hires has resulted in high turnover, leaving a bad taste for some of the longer standing accountants and some interesting clean up challenges. The bad hires are being addressed and replaced. Co-workers can be competitive where it isn't necessary. Not much of a team environment. Not everyone is comfortable with their roles, makes for some neediness. some have mentioned the need for more training, although I found my training sufficient.

Not many , sometimes the issues are not with the company itself but the property

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
