Pros
The team that you work with feels like family. It is such a small team that you really build up strong team work. Pay is decent until you realize how many hours you are working for that salary. The best thing is that you have the ability to learn a lot especially on the technical side. No dresscode Location is nice and a cool workspace
Cons
There are SO many cons but I do not want it to look like I am ripping FitMetrix apart here so I will limit myself. The CTO and CEO are in a relationship and argue like high schoolers. It is so very uncomfortable when you are sitting there listening to them. The CEO and CTO micromanage everything and have the worst possible communication with the team. They want everyone to read their minds and if you can't, then good luck with that! They do everything together so if you have a meeting with one, the other will be there. If something is escalated, they will both be screaming down your neck. The hours that they expect you to work is typical for a start up but what isn't typical is the treatment. They really act like their employees are the hired help. You will put in 45-55 hours realistically. They hire talented people and treat them like they are children. They listen to your calls, ask for updates multiple times during the day, and tell you how to word things. They want you to lose your own voice here and basically be an extension of them. You have to work in office , absolutely no work from home opportunity so don't fall for them telling you that there is. The worst thing is how they talk about their employees after they leave the company. So unprofessional. I would caution anyone interviewing here to ask them about their turnover.
