Thanks for your thoughtful review. We're proud of our talented and hardworking team, and agree that our flexible, remote-first environment and strong benefits are meaningful parts of the Fitbod experience.
We also agree there are areas where we can—and must—do better. Diversity, representation, and inclusion are top of mind for us. While we’ve made some progress, we know it's not enough, and we’re actively working to improve hiring practices, representation, and internal systems of support.
While it’s true that as a small company, we don’t yet have extensive infrastructure in every function (like IT, DEI, etc.), we do have Legal and People/HR in place, and we're always looking for ways to improve how we support employees. What we lack in layers of bureaucracy, we strive to make up for in individual ownership, speed, and trust.
Lastly, we’ve recently revised our rewards and compensation framework to more clearly recognize and reward high-performing individuals—something we hope continues to build trust and alignment going forward.
