Pros

It's a good central London location ish - Canary Wharf (depending on where you're travelling from). Friendly/warm/supportive team members and colleagues. Opportunities to move location/dept. I worked with and heard of colleagues who used to be based in London and managed to secure overseas roles in the company and vice versa. They encourage two volunteer days a year. Hybrid working - 3 days in, 2 WFH (pro or con depending on your view). People are from a diverse range of backgrounds and speak various languages - I almost felt left out that I could only speak English! One of the "big 3" credit ratings firms, so a recognisable name to have on your CV.

Cons

Your experience in the role can be dictated by the line manager who you report into. I understand from colleagues that some are very good/supportive, whilst another can be abrasive and lack empathetic people management. It didn't feel like there was a strong company culture/identity (that I personally experienced), or one that they were aspiring towards or that they communicated widely - neither social, supportive, collaborative or for personal development. eg you're expected to come into the office 3 days a week for more collaboration, however expect to come in on your own if others have worked their days. Whilst it's one of the "big 3" credit ratings agencies, generally seen as the weakest by customers. Depending on your position, very KPI heavy lacking in flexibility. Currently going through restructuring in the commercial dept.
