Pros

- people are mostly kind (some smiles can’t be trusted) - hybrid 2-3 days/dog friendly office

Cons

- ominous layoffs every 6 weeks with no explanation from anyone, all levels of org impacted - leadership doesn’t live by values they preach/expect from you - desperate and fearful energy when the company is behind target - questionable decision making from leadership with no accountability for their blunders - lots of politics to play - no career pathing/promotions - underpaid

Hey there, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts. We know Fittes isn’t the right fit for everyone, and we won’t pretend we have everything figured out. We move fast, and with that comes change — which can be exciting for some and frustrating for others. We aim to be as transparent as possible, but we also know that some decisions, especially around sensitive topics, can’t always be shared as openly as we’d like. That’s a tough balance, and we’re always working on improving how we communicate during uncertain times. That said, we stand by what we do offer: a team that looks out for each other, a flexible work setup, and a place where people who thrive in a fast-moving environment can make a real impact. We hear you, and we appreciate your feedback. Wishing you all the best in what’s next for you!

Pros

They innovate well. Hybrid WFH options for certain roles. Compensation was solid. Stocked kitchen. Social events.

Cons

Employee turnover is horrendous. I saw a dozen folks come in and out in my time there. Any disagreements with upper management tend to lead to dismissal. A glass castle approach to management. Job security is not existent and you should watch your back for any excuse to give you the boot.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that employee turnover can feel challenging and unsettling. As a growing startup and high performance organization, we set ambitious goals and expect a lot from our team. While this environment is rewarding for many, we recognize it may not be the right fit for everyone. It’s worth noting that, according to industry data, turnover at startups can often be double the national average (15%) due to the fast-paced nature of these organizations. Evolving needs of the business may not align with everyone's strengths for the long-term. That said, we are committed to fostering open communication and learning from our team’s experiences. While difficult decisions occur, we strive to ensure they are aligned with the overall growth and health of the company. Feedback like yours helps us improve, and we will continue to explore ways to provide more support, clarity, and job security for our team members. Thank you again for sharing your perspective, and we wish you the best in your career journey.
