Pros

Flexfab offers all the major benefits and more. They work hard to cultivate the positive culture they have preserved for many years which is the one area I think Flexfab excels at. There is a lot more consideration of individual circumstances than the production people are aware of. There is always heavy consideration behind closed doors of how we can best serve people within the guidelines of the contract. They even offer alternative schedules now.

Cons

Everyone needs to realize the culture starts with every one of us. Sometimes the lenient policies make management's job a lot harder but it is respected as part of the culture.

Pros

Pay, starting is about $19 $.50 raise every few months until cap. (cap increases every year.) The heads of the company reflect the company values beautifully and check in on all of the floor workers periodically. Departments set scrap goals every period and if youre make under goal they buy pizza. Alternative schedules, flexfab recently went through a schedule reform allowing employees to find a schedule that fits them (subject to availability) straight 8's, four 10's, rotating 12's. Recently introduced a peer recognition platform called quantum where anybody can share positive encounters or observations about any one of their peers.

Cons

Depending on the department work load is either ridiculously hard or relatively easy. Most departments are understaffed but experienced, meaning if one person finishes a two person job within 1 shift, they're stuck doing it by themselves leading to burn out. As you go lower down the hierarchy of management the values are lost, team leads are responsible for way too much while not being properly trained, most supervisors dont take accountablity for things that are their fault, one was even accused by several employees for sexual harassment and there was no consequence, plant managers dont have enough understanding of the individual processes and dont provide enough time or resources to get orders out on time. (without heavy stress on everyone involved.) The communication all around is terrible, some departments dont have communication meetings and others have weekly meetings to discuss goals but fail to mention important information regarding individuals and their orders (drop in order, being sent to another building due to lack of work, department shutting down due to a lack of orders, internal job postings etc...) On several occations I personally have been thanked, after expressing that I am driving myself to complete exhaustion and near panic attack to get an order out that I asked for help with weeks if not months prior. Very comparitive among employees "well _____ can do it why can't you?"
